LiDAR & Vision Calibration Honeycomb Panel

The LiDAR & vision calibration panel is a professional target plate dedicated to the unified calibration of internal and external parameters of LiDAR and industrial cameras, as well as the spatial coordinate registration of multi-sensor systems.

Manufactured with premium aluminum honeycomb as the core substrate, the panel features standard alternating black-and-white calibration patterns printed via precision screen printing technology. The high-contrast black-and-white blocks generate distinct feature points and corner points. After capturing images and point cloud data, the equipment extracts accurate features to calibrate and match the coordinate systems of camera imaging and laser ranging.

This calibration process effectively eliminates installation deviations among different sensors, ensuring high-precision multi-source perception data fusion for autonomous driving, machine vision, 3D detection and other industrial sensing scenarios.


Featuring an ultra-flat aluminum honeycomb sandwich structure with dual face sheets, the panel delivers excellent rigidity and flatness with minimal deformation and warpage. It effectively avoids feature point offset caused by surface unevenness during calibration, ensuring accurate and consistent checkerboard and corner coordinates for lower calibration errors.

Thanks to its hollow honeycomb structure, the panel is significantly lighter than solid aluminum and steel plates of the same size. Its lightweight design enables easy manual handling, lifting and on site installation. Even large format targets can be mounted by a single operator, simplifying field calibration operations.

Unlike solid wood and metal panels, our aluminum honeycomb calibration targets support ultra-large multi-meter sizing without self-weight sagging or structural distortion. They are ideal for large scale multi-sensor synchronous calibration for vehicle perception systems, inspection stations and automated production lines.
