Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games --National Convention Center Phase 2
National Convention Center Phase Ⅱ is located in Beijing Olympic Sports Center Area, north of National Convention Center (phase I) covers an area about 138800 ㎡ and consists of main buildings and supporting buildings. The main part is Convention and Exhibition Center, with a total construction area about 420000 ㎡. It'll be mainly used to hold state affairs, government affairs and high-end business exhibition activities in the future.
The supporting part of National Convention Center Phase Ⅱ is located in the west of main body and consists of two plots, with a total construction area about 360000 ㎡. The South plot is 5A class office building and boutique commercial complex, and the North plot is composed of two hotels, a luxury hotel and a five-star hotel.
It will become a new type of intelligent and influential international exhibition center after completion.
01 Solemnity and dynamics are in harmony
The main building of National Convention Center Phase 2 is designed by Christian de Portzamparc, a famous French architect as well as The Pritzker Architecture Prize winner.
The architectural appearance is relaxed, upright and calm, and the facade is simple and changeable. For example, the shape is magnificent, elegant and light, solemn and cordial.
The overhanging eaves of east facade convey the charm of Chinese traditional architecture, and show Chinese majesty, etiquette, rites and music and the transparency and openness of modern China.
The straight roof forms elegant lines, which complement the surrounding buildings and Bird's Nest.
As a finale work of Olympic Sports Center Area, National Convention Center (Phase I and Phase II) adds a perfect stroke to the central axis of Beijing. It shows the style of Chinese cultural self-confidence, openness, inclusiveness and inclusiveness.

East, South and North facades of the main building are composed of a special curtain wall unit - "bird window" shaped by metal and glass curtain wall. 02 Economical Olympic Games and Green exhibition coincide
The main body of National Convention Center Phase 2 is the location of the Main Media Center (MMC) of Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games.

In order to echo the magnificent momentum of "birds" flying together, the facade curtain walls supplied by Winsom adopt special-shaped (flat four sides, trapezoid) honeycomb panels as curtain wall decoration, and cooperate with the installation system of recessed joint to make the curtain wall three-dimensional, flexible and changeable.

Compounding 5mm thick Moon Beige stone with aluminum honeycomb panel, which not only maintains the natural decoration effect, but also overcomes the shortcomings of fragile natural stone, large weight and low safety factor. The application on the curtain wall presents a solemn, steady, natural and pure, dignified and dynamic decorative effect.

Therefore, in order to ensure the high quality and safety of stone honeycomb panel, the owner, architect, consultant, construction unit, material supplier and other parties have conducted in-depth investigation and demonstration for many times, and adopted the stone honeycomb panel four sides closed by stone.
