Project introduction
The Grosvenor Shopping Centre is a large shopping precinct in Chester, England. As the Grovenor Shopping Center full of European retro charm under Eskmuir group, in order to improve spatial line of sight and light level and improve shopping experience, the original space is expanded and transformed. The plan includes a modern glass front atrium, square and partial building facade.
European retro charm
While maintaining the original classical architectural style, add modern vitality elements. Firstly, the introduction of double-layer glass curtain wall brings sufficient natural light to the dull shopping space and eliminates the cramped and narrow sense of space brought by dull artificial lighting. It provides a seamless connection between the indoor shopping space and the vibrant city square.

Secondly, in order to harmoniously integrate with the surrounding architectural scenery and abandon the original dirty and residual red brick wall decoration, the natural yellow sandstone stone honeycomb panel is selected as the curtain wall decoration material for the renovation.
