EA211 Engine Plant of Changchun FAW-Volkswagen

After the comprehensive completion of Chengdu engine factory since October last year, the Foundation Laying Ceremony of EA211 engine plant of Changchun FAW-Volkswagen project was held in Changchun on May, 15th, 2013. The engine factory was located at the car economical and technology development zone. With covering area 124,000 m2, the total investment was up to RMB 2.3 billion. The first annual production was expected up to 450,000 sets, second 600,000 sets. When factory put into production, all compact cars and part of mid-size cars of FAW-Volkswagen might be equipped with EA211 engines.

Based on the design requirements and local wind pressure, what we offered is mineral wool sandwich panel MWCP80 with mounting system which is integrated with heat insulation,decoration and walling functions. 3mm flat joint system ensures high flatness and aesthetics for the facade. The modified PVC profile avoids “cold bridge” effectively. Two closed ends protect mineral wool from exposing and extend panel life. Simple installation, fasten panels to the support through fixing clamps rather than riveting which protect panels from damaging and meet the thermal movement. All the panels were customized in the Winsom factory, no need any second fabrication. Certificated by national authority, the fire resistance is up to A1.
