Winsom successfully signed Jerusalem Forgiveness Museum project
Recently, Winsom successfully signed Jerusalem Forgiveness Museum project and would provide unique limestone honeycomb panel for curtain wall decoration.
Forgiveness Museum is located in the center of Jerusalem, on the boundary of Independence Park. Its design scheme was from Chyutin Architects Office. Mainbody of building was designed with narrow and long structure, the whole appearance maintained original urban environment and reflected museum’s own uniqueness as well. It's a visual icon that distinguished itself from its background but maintain continuity in height and material with surrounding urban structure. As per the requirements of local government, the facade was facing city should be decorated so as to correspond with the architectural characteristics of 19th and 20th century.
The facade of Museum would adopt limestone as main decorative material, with dignified and natural decorative characteristics. However, solid limestone panel exists a hidden danger of fragmentation and falling for curtain wall decoration because of its dark grain. Winsom recommended limestone honeycomb panel as main decorative material of curtain wall to meet the decorative texture requirement of natural stone and improve use safety. Winsom stone honeycomb panel is made of natural stone and aluminum honeycomb panel through high temperature & high pressure and special adhesive to composite, excellent adhesive strength, and1 /3 weight of solid stone with same thickness only which can effectively reduce the building load and improve use safety of stone.
In order to better meet building styles and decorative effect of Museum, Winsom would provide a variety of customized shapes of stone honeycomb panel, such as rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal, irregular shape and seamless corner panel.In addition, stone honeycomb panel would be added opening design as well to meet the lighting requirements of museum curtain wall night scene. All stone honeycomb panel would be fabricated in Winsom factory without any second fabrication on site to ensure product quality and installation effect.
Each architectural work has its own unique features. As the decorative material itself, while meeting the high-quality requirements, more important to show the uniqueness of each work perfectly and restore the best design to the greatest extent possible.
