The comparison between closed stone honeycomb panel and cutting stone honeycomb panel

Stone honeycomb panel with four-side cutting was used in curtain wall decoration at the beginning, but the hidden safety hazards were found during application later. Winsom improved the stone honeycomb panel through R&D and experiment, and developed four-side closed stone honeycomb panel system.

After improvement, Winsom stone honeycomb panel adopt four-side closed structural design, excellent air tightness, water tightness, and better weather resistance and  safer in curtain wall decoration. Base on four-side closed design and inserted extrusion, Winsom stone honeycomb panel ensure the overall force during installation to achieve higher safety. Meanwhile, Winsom stone honeycomb panel use clamp for installation, meet thermal movement demand, more simple and convenient.

The normal cutting stone honeycomb panel is usually cut randomly at site, or use small pieces of stone to composite on cutting aluminum honeycomb panel. Without sealed treatment, water vapor is easy to enter the inside of panel. In winter, water freeze in cold weather, cause volume expansion, make honeycomb core separate from skins, destroy the stability of inside structure and incur great safety hazards. Usually, cutting stone honeycomb panel is fixed to support directly by riveting, no thermal movement space and easy to deform. 

Thus, cutting stone honeycomb panel is absolutely not suitable for curtain wall decoration.
