Stone honeycomb panel-thaw resistance test report

Stone honeycomb panel is composited by natural stone veneer and aluminum honeycomb panel substrate through special workmanship. Nowadays, people are paying more attention not only to the beauty of natural stone but also the safety of stone honeycomb panel, especially in residential high-rise building.

Winsom has conducted test on thaw resistance of stone honeycomb panel through national authority. Testing method: soaked our stone honeycomb panel in -20℃ degrees water for 2 hours, and then soaked it in 80℃ degrees for another two hours in 100 times cycle. Namely simulating 100 times of alternation between winter and summer, and test the flat tensile strength in the end. The statistics we got is 1.04 Mpa, which is higher than 0.8 Mpa national standard. According to the national standard, it is required to have at least 80 times of the thermo cycling test. Winsom stone honeycomb panel so far outstands beyond the national criteria.

Stone honeycomb panel is more safe compared to solid stone. Usually we see dark fringe in natural stone, which may create safety hazard if adopting traditional wall cladding systems.
