Product: Aluminum honeycomb sun louver SC50S with special shape

Reconstruction project of Australia HMAS Albatross was completed recently. This air base is mainly a training ground for small aircraft and helicopters. Besides planed neat parking apron and training runway, its main body is a two story office building.  

According to design requirement, Winsom honeycomb structure sun louvers SC50S with right trapezoid shape were orderly arranged in exterior windows of first and second floors, which plays the roles of sun shading and outlines three-dimensional decorative sense for building. In order to achieve architect’s design requirement for unique shape of louvers, all louvers SC50S were designed by precise size to achieve final decoration effect. To ensure air tightness, water tightness as well as overall aesthetic, a special sealed treatment was necessary after hot pressing composite. 

Australia HMAS Albatross is located in open area, higher wind load. As a training ground for small aircraft, to better meet wind load demand, we inserted extrusion inside of SC50S and adopted threads connect extrusion to ensure installation strength and improve safety.
