Contract Win: Ayala Mall Fairview Terraces in the Philippines
We are delighted to announce that WINSOM has been entrusted with the facade solution for Ayala Mall Fairview Terraces in Quezon City, Philippines – a major commercial development by Ayala Land, with a gross floor area exceeding 110,000 square metres.
This project called for a distinctive facade language: a layered, light?responsive exterior that stands out from conventional commercial architecture. Standard shading products could not deliver the required visual flow and depth. Our response was a custom curved torsion louver system crafted from 50mm aluminium honeycomb panels.
What makes this system unique is that every panel has its own graduated twist. When assembled, the panels create a continuous, fabric?like effect – reminiscent of a gently lifted curtain. Achieving this required extreme precision in panel curvature calibration, pushing the limits of our manufacturing and lamination capabilities. Our R&D team worked closely with the design team to turn this ambitious vision into a buildable reality.
This project is a natural extension of our core expertise: differentiated custom linear facade solutions that go far beyond standard curtain walls. Over the years, WINSOM has delivered high?difficulty shaped cladding and shading systems for a diverse range of landmark projects, including:

Each of these projects presented unique geometric and performance challenges, and each was solved through our in?house engineering and production know?how.
