The company will supply custom curved aluminum honeycomb panels for this landmark complex, marking its continued commitment to Anhui's transportation infrastructure following the T2 Terminal project. Design & Technical Challenges
Inspired by the "Jianghuai Water Rhyme" concept, the hub's design blends polygonal and curved surfaces to create fluid visual dynamics. Its curtain wall presents industry-leading complexities:
Each double-curved panel features unique 3D curvature radii and arc lengths
Ultra-large segmentation surpasses standard material specifications by over 30%
Certain panels exceed current industry fabrication limits
These oversize double-curved components face high risks of edge wrinkling and center depression due to uneven tensile stress distribution during forming.
Engineering Breakthroughs
To overcome the dual challenges of multi-form curvature and oversized panels, Winsom:
